Things to look at when playing PC w/o Aircon?

pilgr1mag3

hello fellow members,

I just finish building new PC. but it seems like the 1000w psu is too much for my house bandwidth, thus i got 3 power outages so far.

Im upgrading to a higher elec. bandwidth, but it takes 7 days to apply. meanwhile im planning to use my PC without aircon on. its basicly all summer here, outdoor temps ranges from 29-34c. room temp where the pc at is around 25-28c.

What things i need to monitor when the PC is on load? what temp of cpu/gpu is considered high and could cause damage overtime?

Right now im getting a UPS to prevent further power outage damaging my PC (NIC ethernet port just stop working last night and i just bought a usb>Lan connector)

Any other pre cautious i need to do? i just want to ensure everything's alright. thanks

Is adding more fans with positive airflow helps with warm/hot ambient?

You're not going to see issues if the temps are only that high. That's honestly not super warm for a room, or outside temperatures.

Also, it's highly, highly unlikely that your PC is pulling 1000w from the wall. It's probably closer to 500w, at most 700w, and that's only when gaming.

I'd look at other things as issues more than an overloaded circuit.

To answer OP's question of what to look out for when playing without aircon.

None.

The computer will throttle itself if it needs to. It's only a couple of days anyway.

try reinstalling ethernet drivers before writing it off as a bad port

my home bandwidth is only 2200va, which is 1760 watt. thats probably where the issue is. most devices is being used together in a time is my pc, 2 ac, 2 40" led tv, and other small devices. i mean my 2 aircon is already pulling out 700w x 2.. power is out when all been used together.
