Holy Mother of sata ports!

I like how wireless is becoming adopted on even high end boards its not always ideal and what alot of enthusiasts use but it does come in handy from time to time.

I thought that due to some bios issue they wouldnt work together, then again i did hear that a while back, things might have changed, im not too up to date with z97 due to exams.

wireless is an option, the two boards have the option of coming with the wireless card or just the board, which is cheaper of course.

Z87 won't work with refresh haswell, Z97 will work with current and refresh haswell chips.

Compared to Asus' round heatsink, Asrock's bright colors, and all the overused Black/Red gaming color scheme, the MSI Mpower series looks classy. A lot better imo. Still, i'm digging the all black schemes of EVGA stinger/ classified. Oh and the orange gigabyte is not bad too.

maybe ill get one, but I think I may wait for 4790k to be released before I do this.

I simply don't use my 6 core enough to warrant it's extra pricetag

Wow, the Xpower saves the day! The only board in Z97 with both a PLX PEX chip and an ideal PCIe layout for 3-way GPUs and Intel Gigabit Ethernet. Not wasting any PCIe lanes on SATA express either. Whoopee!

I'm in business. I guess I just have to paint the chipset heatsink, or grind that big X off as it looks stupid.

GOT DAMNIT NOOOOOOOO! IT'S E-ATX! YOU PIECES OF SHIT MSI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

QFT also it killed the looks of both boards and for those price you would think at least the expensive one would have sata express

this is one of the greatest thing that has happened to me recently, and it happened on this forum, those involved have my eternal gratitude http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/198850-update-alex-got-his-moto-g2-lets-get-a-moto-g-for-alexgoeshigh-unofficial/ :')

i use to have the second best link in the world here, but it died ;_; its a 404 now but it will always be here

8+4 Pin for the CPU, and 6 Pin EPS (in a horrible location IMO) for additional power to the PCIe slots.

Also, not that I cared at all, but no Sata Express? I like the M.2 support, looks like that will be standard.

I hope Gigabyte have the orange scheme for their high end board.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. The True Path of the Feathered One. ~ Dimboble-dubabob III

Damn, these look nice. All of the other Z97 boards look really cheap and flimsy, even the high end ones. Nice job MSI.
