ETHERNET LINK STATUS DISCONNECTED IN BIOS

First make sure you are actually getting internet, if you cant get internet then you will have to make a local account but assuming you are on Windows 11 it will require a workaround, if you are on Windows 10 then you dont have to do that.

Hi, I just finished building my PC but I am unable to install Windows due to not having an internet connection. I have tried a different cable but it still doesn’t detect it. The router also doesn’t show the PC being a connected device. The BIOS says the link status is disconnected even though the ethernet activity led is blinking. The motherboard is the Z690i Aorus Ultra Lite. Why is this and how can I fix it?
