Yes, they're great. I sometimes question their aesthetics though.

huuuuum i don't know man, it's always better to go for the big brands out there so you wont be gamboling on the build quality the components used in the product or the life span, plus, how much more does an Asus, Gigabyte or a Sapphire cost  any way ?

Actually I chose this card over the saphire model that was the same price, Lets just say in the past me and saphire had problems with my first 5850, This GPU is not the best looking one, But I do like how the shroud on it points the airflow more out the back. And I am honestly strapped for cash, I honestly could not spend any more. I really should have gotten the PowerColor R7 265 for less, But after deep thought and greed I got a R9 270

Dunno how their cards are now.

But i had a 4850 IceQ Turbo X (their custom cooler and factory oc) and i loved it.

I OC'd it to the max Catalyst Control Centre (my first time oc'ing) allowed without having to change the voltage and it was always extremely quiet.

Crap! I was researching on the R9's And I noticed people having artifact issues with brand new cards, I hope this does not happen , My 5850 was artifacting before I got my 650 Ti, The 5850 would not artifact when I used windows 7 and a very old driver, But since I went to windows 8.1, I had to use a new driver, And for some reason the newer drivers made it artifact, But If I went back to Windows 7 and the old driver it would be fine, Please don't tell me AMD has artifact issues still with their drivers. I could have got a Gigabyte GTX 660 for the same price, But I chose the R9 270 because it is newer and has more power, I hope I did not make a bad choice. Hopefully the 5850 burnt something instead, But looking at those forums ohhh!, Why am I freaking out? I am getting a new card yeahhh!

No artifact issues. Artifact issues occur when your mem clocks are too high.

so far it normally goes like this to how I experienced things.

Sapphire/msi/gigabyte/asus>HIS>powercolor

but back then there were quite a few number of rma rates for the asus 7950 and 7970 series I had 3 and it gave me some trouble.

I'd take HIS over powercolor anyday. (I have no experience with club 3D)

As far as their 7000 series cards, yes.  Bought my son a IceQ Turbo 7870 for rear exhaust purposes....and man that thing can run....don't know about the 270/270x flavors, even though they are updates of the 7870.  HIS customer service, in my experience has been average...their 7950 IceQ Turbo enjoyed success....do not like the stickers on the card (see pic) and insofar as aesthetics...well it is what it is.  The 7870/7950 IceQ models run/ran cool and quiet given that the card was using a modified "squirrel cage" fan.

I can't wait! I will finally have a real GPU, I thought it had a free 2-day delivery, But it turns out the 2-day delivery is free, Only if I buy it, "LOL" Makes sense hu? Anyway it is coming by eggsaver, And I found eggsaver to be faster than the 3 day, But it probably won't get to me until the end of the week. But I already got the latest driver for it downloaded, And I am ready to re-install my Windows 8.1 to be sure I am clean.

I just got her. And I actually think it is a good looking card, The length is actually not much longer than my 650 Ti , And with the two 80mm fans it runs only 2 degress warmer than my 110 watt 650 Ti.  And I am finally able to Max Payne 3 and Sleeping Dogs on the max settings,  So far I am more than happy with the R9 270. Finally AMD did the right thing with price/performence.

Yes, I remember that card. Around Black Friday, it was at $215, and I would've gotten it then, but I and my family didn't have any money then. Of course, soon after, the cryptocurrency craze took hold. I did hear good things about that card, and I generally trust HIS as a brand.

Why is the God of Hyperdeath SO...DARN...CUTE!?

well i won't

so far I've sold more than 50 powercolor gpu and 8 of those were rma'd

sold HIS around 40 (give or take +1 -1) and even now I still haven't received any returns.

just so you know my place is kinda like this "1 problem? format or RMA" so if some problem appears they will most likely return it.
