Can you guys give me some movie recommendations?

I'm looking for a good movie to watch tonight.

 

Important:

-it must be produced in 2000-2014, but not still in theatres

-genres I like: action, comedy, romance, adventure, sci-fi...

 

what I don't want:

-psychological madness like shutter island (my brain was mad at me after watching that movie

 

my problem: I feel like I've already watched any movie I like, and I don't find one that I think I'd like.

Most films are a bit crap these days so i doubt you'll find anything interesting.

Every so often there's a decent TV series like Sherlock, but other than that you're out of luck unless you like anime :P

Most films are a bit crap these days so i doubt you'll find anything interesting.

Every so often there's a decent TV series like Sherlock, but other than that you're out of luck unless you like anime :P

Well I've seen only one anime series (except for the old ones like pokemon and dragon ball Z) which was fairy tail, and I absolutely loved it! If you could give me something similar to fairy tail I would be very pleased :D

I haven't seen FT myself, but my two favourite recommendations are usually Full Metal Alchemist (or FMA:Brotherhood) or Sword Art Online.

Fairy tail is good, I watch it too, and it's just started up again (continuing where it left off) so you could catch up with it :)

Fate Zero is really good as well. It has a high production value so the animation is amazing.

Some are Fullmetal Alchemist, Code Geass and my Personal Favourite: One piece. Then again, there's a lot of watching (630+ eps :D) but it has the whole friendship thing with fancy powers and slapstick comedy and really good characters and story. It's not for everyone though.

Groove adventure Rave is another one by the same guy who writes fairy tail, and it has very similar characters.

 

Off the topic of anime, Firefly is a good series. It's a space sci-fi that was only around for 14 episodes before cancellation, but it got really popular.

BBC's Sherlock is definitely a good watch if you like mystery, comedy, and a bit of drama.
