Actually if they do go balls to the wall nuts with the scifi this could be a fun we romp.

 

My major problem with the series historically is it's insensitivity and crassness, this coming from someone who adores ultraviolent films, books and games.  It's never funny, thought provoking or a metaphor.

 

That and the gameplay is suuuuuuuper dull, empty feeling weapons, predictable AI, on rails linearity.  Super easy. Super boring. Super unimpressive.

The graphics aren't bad. Nothing special but there was nothing really ugly either.

 

I'm not really fussed if it has no new interesting game modes or keeps the "Call of Duty" feel with the guns (low recoil etc.) as long as it's a good port and not buggy/broken on launch I'll give it a shot.

Black Ops 1 had an excellent story IMO, Modern Warfare 1-3 had a great storyline too.

Sigh, I'll probably buy it just to add it to my library. I've bought and played every CoD since MW2 just to say I have it. MW2 was great, Black Ops was good, MW3 was meh, whatever, Black Ops 2 is a lot better now that Ghosts came out. Kind of sad that CoD: Ghosts made BO2 a better game. Anyways, I'll end up buying this one on launch day as well.

if the port is better than Ghosts' sorry excuse of a port I'm in. Running around going pew pew unrealistically has been my shooter of choice since quake. realism makes things boring.
