Noctua nfp12 or Scythe grand flex ?

Will be using them as case fans,will be going for air cooling so no rads

Except that GT's are quieter and don't look like cancer and Hyperborea's are half the price with similar performance and also don't look like cancer.

Scythe fans are well made and when was the last time you ever heard of someone getting a defective fan? I'm all for going for a good warranty but paying $10 more than a Hyperborea for something that looks worse and performs similarly is a bit much.

I had a friend who got a defective fan today, so today. lol.  But yeah, I see what you mean.

I think if you want mega high quality fans, and want them to look good, just get NB E-loops

why not PAINT (noctua)

because you would throw off their balance which would make them louder and less effective.
