Need help finding a spy (audio) recorder

(Really couldn't put this anywhere else so I'm posting here)

 

I'm trying to find a good audio recorder (in Europe) which is small enough to fit in my sock or some other similar place.

It will be used to record music in a big room, so I'm leaning something that has good quality recordings

 

my budget is MAXIMUM 200€ but ideally let's keep it at around 150€

Are you going to wear a lav mic? If the microphone's built into the recorder, and you keep it in your sock, you're going to get nothing but scratchy handling noises every time you move.

 

Is using your phone an option?

 

Why does it have to be sneaky?

No matter how much money you spend, a recorder in your sock won't sound great at all.  

 

You're obviously trying to do something surreptitiously, but why?  

 

You do realize that concert recordings aren't made from area mics?

I dunno...  But I do know if hiding your phone there, it can be considered a "Booty Call" if your butt starts ringing.

See this sucks that they removed it from the forums, you used to be able to see where someone was from.

I'm sorry, but I was being sarcastic, ACME is a fake company from old loony toons cartoons.. its a running gag, its an acroym that means "A Company that Makes Every thing"

They didn't remove it. They just removed it and custom member titles from next to our PFPs for posts.

So you essentially just needed generic voice recorder? You really don't need to be so secretative about that. But in future, if you can't tell real reason, at least try not to sound like you are trying to commit crimes or other not-so-nice things. As those aren't allowed here. Locked.
