Gaming Chair - Which one to buy?

Tom - Belgium

Hi,

I need some advice of which gaming chair to buy.

Last year I had a back-surgery and I currently have a DX Racer game chair (it is about 5-6 years old now) but it has a kind of hard cushion that always slides to the bottom  of the backrest.

I'm sitting a lot of time in this chair since I'm a gamer and also working from home.

So now I'm hesitating between a Secret Labs Titan 2020 or a another DX Racer.

Your thoughts?

(Sorry for all the typo's but I'm a Belgian dude and english is not my native tongue) 😉

Thanks for the advice

None, gaming chairs are shit. you're better off looking for a proper office chair.

and as always:

do NOT buy any chair without sitting on it first and trying it out. what is comfortable for 1 person, might be the worse ergonomics for the next.

The only thing I have to add here: Chairs are rated in "Hours per day of use". Getting a chair rated for 24/7 use that is comfortable to sit in will last you until shortly before the heat death of the universe. A chair rated for "2-4 hours of use per day" will last around a week, then fall apart (I'm exaggerating, but you get the idea). Get a chair with the highest rated hours per day that's comfortable to sit in. My current chair is 7 years old, and other than a dust bunny the size of Texas jammed in under the backrest, it's just as comfortable as the day I bought it.

not a day goes by where i dont regret getting a shitty gamer chair.

Even the 10 year old  office chair i used before that had better ergonomics.

You throw your gaming chair in the dumpster and get a decent office chair lad
