Don't you get annoyed by the amount of wasted space at the bottom on the screen? :P

It kind of bothers me that it looks like chrome. Its not necessary a bad thing, but it feels as though the Firefox crew copped their appearance. So far, It seems to be a little snappier and smooth, so thats a plus. Its just the copy-cat feel this has that bothers me. But I probably wont notice it after a couple of days.

Only reason I didn't have the dock on auto-hide is because before my dock was FULL. Edge to edge full.

When I first switched It really annoyed me - I just end up using full screen mode all the time instead

And it looks almost identical to chrome - wonder if it takes up memory like a bitch too?

I've been using FF3 theme since FF4... still waiting that they update that theme. I've lost back/forward buttons which makes my UI look stupid, I can't remove menu button (which I don't need) and there's no way to move tab bar back under bookmark bar. Oh, and my addon bar is missing too, wtf...

Probably not, I think its more on all Chrome's features and the lack of polishment...

...polishment isnt a word, but it is now.

I'm 99% sure Firefox is open source, or at least similar to open source and so it gets a bit more attention and can be fixed more easily.  As with Chrome you can report a bug or the fact Chrome takes up 50% of your memory but you have to wait for Google.

It's alright, but I kinda like the squared off look better.

Ok, if someone is more into retro look of Firefox (v2-3) there's this addon https://addons.mozilla.org/fi/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ . Now I only need some blue/dark blue skin for it to match windows theme.

Having used it for a few months (I'm on aurora which is alpha) I have to say that while at first I felt like you guys - not an improvement - it has grown on me and I now quite like it. Classic Theme restorer can get it back to pretty much what it was before, although it's not perfect, but I would suggest that you just stick it out and learn to enjoy it.

Don't want to sound like a prick... but you can set your dock to auto-hide and then maximized windows take up the whole screen space :)
