Sometimes the simplest of things are the most effective. Having a large budget isn't the key to gifts, it's about being savvy with money.

 

To be honest I'd get something from his past or your friendship like in Breaking Bad when Walt got Elliott some Noodles.

Look around some charity shops and some deartment stores and ask store clerks. They are generaly very knowledgable about stuff like that.

 

EDIT: And Alcohol always goes down well. Unless he is religious or teetotal, it doesn't have to be a tech gift.

I need suggestions for a gift, preferably tech, ~£100

gift is for a tech savy teenager,

he doesnt need new pc components or peripherals. 

 

Maybe some cool gadgets or tech toys?

 

Like an RC helicopter or something cool?

I say go for some good headphones. Although headphones in Europe are a bit expensive. The Beyerdynamic DT series is great for the price in Europe but its a little bit over 100. Sennheiser 518 and 558 are good as well. AKG K612 are great as well but not sure how much they cost.
