Upgrading from 2700x to 7700x, psu help

I have an old 2700X paired with 16GB 3200Mhz RAM, a 2070, an X470 board and a 750W power supply.

When I'm going to switch to a 7700X (and new motherboard and ram aswell) should I upgrade my PSU too?

Whats the make and model of the 750w psu?

As for right now it's also a who knows it's not out. What you need to look out for psu wise is gpu's the new cpu's are just using normal connetors.

Afaik Ryzens 7000 will use standard CPU connector (as everyone else)

Going from 60ish to 100ish watt won't be a problem with a 750W PSU, its not as if you'd get a 4090 GPU 🙂

I have a 5900X, 32GB RAM, and a 2070 Super. I'm using a be quiet Straight Power 11 750W, and I've had 0 issues. So as long as your current psu is good, you shouldn't have to worry about upgrading to AM5
