Mine and my i7 8086ks all used 1.35v.

I still have one i7 8086k at 5.1ghz all cores using it.

So over 4 years.

I used this old der8auer video as a starting point.

The video also explains why 1.36v is not an issue.

Ah ok I just dropped it to 1.25 in the bios and system crashed after 20 mins of aida64 and it didn’t really lower temps so just leave it on auto ?

3600mhz cl16, less. 1.15v-1.18v.

I have the same board and cpu. Though installed is 4267mhz b-die.

4000mhz cl-16, I use 1.18v.

1.36v yeah, if you want really tight and fast timings. Like CL12 3800mhz and up, probably some cpu chilling and top end cache frequency.

Asus is notorious for OV everything.

Check the SPD timing table in bios and compare to the XMP. It should give a few secondary values, be sure they are set accurately.

What memory kit part #?

If you are running an AVX bench that is about right.

That is known to be hot.

I am in the camp that think apps like that are pointless unless you are looking for a problem.

Game temps are all I am interested in now.

I got 4.7 at 1.17v with cache at 4.5

mac temp 67c in aids 64 and 10 loops of r23

and the r23 score was 9100 down from 9700 so there not a great deal in it and temps are much much better so il probly stick with this in the summer
