ASUS VA24EHE 23.8” Monitor, 1080P, Full HD, IPS, 75Hz, menu?

The settings menu is transparent now, the text is a lot harder to see, I was trying out options & not sure what option did it, but it did. Did a reset, it is back, still though, odd option to have. Why would some one want a transparent menu?
