Weird Prompt on Windows Startup

Go to solution Solved by emosun,

the os can't open the files anyway so delete them and see if it stops

Hi

When I start my PC after rebooting or shutting down, I always get a prompt that says "how would you like to open this file".  So I picked Notepad to see what it was, and this is the dialogue it gave me.  It happens every single time I start the system.  I think it has to do with Visual Studio?  But I am not sure.  Does anyone know how to stop this?  I am using windows 11.

Edit: I had to create a paste bin link because the whole notepad output didn't fit in the post

Why not check the name and directory of the file to see if its at all relevant to you

Furthermore check what is booting up with your system. You should still find it in your Taskmanager

Throw everything out you don't need

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite,  Ryzen 9 3900x, Dark Rock Pro 4, 16 GB Crucial Ballistix  RGB 3600 MHz CL16 RAM, RTX 3080 TI FE Watercooled, 6 Case Fans,  Fractal Design Meshify S2

You are awesome, stay safe and healthy.

I did that and the prompt is still showing up. Very strange.  It is definitely related to Visual Studio though.

I traced it back to some of the files it was calling for and it created these weird files in Users

Also no this isn't a virus this is a fresh copy of windows with only a very few reputable programs installed.
