So i know this may sound stupid,but i was curious about something. If you water cool a computer,would it drop the temperature of the air being exhausted?  To be clear I dont think I'm asking of it would drop the over all temperature/energy output of the machine as a whole. But if it would make it feel like it's not "actively" pushing hot air?

Like @JKRsega said, heat is heat. (And heat is a form of energy-ish)
Water cooling in PC's just temporarily changes the medium it uses to transfer the heat. (as in CPU -> water -> air (via the radiator)).

The amounts will be the same.

Oh cool a nuanced question.

 

The PC will consume approximately the same amount of power (slightly more since the pump consumes power, but slightly less because cooler components are less resistive and therefore use less power). So the machine will be outputting the same total amount of energy. So, if the energy is the same, and we assume the intake air temperature is the same, then the only variable left that matters is the total quantity of air that is moving through the PC. More air carrying the same energy will be at a lower temperature compared with less air moving the same energy. Since water-cooled PCs have more restricted air flow due to the radiators being in the way of the moving air, I would guess that they would therefore tend have a lower total flow rate of air moving through the system.

 

So my hypothesis is that a water cooled system will tend to have hotter (and slower) exhaust air vs an air cooled system.

Thing is though that heat isn't transferred the same way, and watercooling means the case interior will be cooler as heat is transferred via water tubes to the rad and then outside rather than being dissipated in the case and then out

So for example the mobo, GPU and SSD will be a tad cooler
