should I replace gtx 980 ti with gtx 1070?

I found a really good priced 1070, only 200 dollars (15k rubles) on avito (russian eBay) and the guy who sells it offers a deal that I bring my 980 ti and 4k rubles, so should I buy it or nah?

The 980 Ti and the 1070 are in the same performance class so performance should be more or less similar.

No matter how many times you ask or rephrase.... the 1070 is NOT an upgrade over the 980Ti.  

 

So, if you want a 1070 and to waste $200... go for it.  You seem to want to, so I think that is what you should do to make yourself happy.  Happy > money.

Having owned both, that is the case for gaming performance. 1070 is much more efficient in compute uses though.

700 series support was recently dropped, 900 series is next on the chopping block. 10 series will be a ways off from being dead end in terms of driver updates even if the card isn't faster.

Don't bother. The only meaningful difference between these two is that you get to use the VRR capabilities of freesync monitors with a 1070, the 980ti isn't allowed to.
