4670k stock with water cooling

Hey guys,

 

i am not a genius with overclocking. 

 

My cpu is a 4670k boost clock 3.8 ghz. (stock)

 

With prime 95 small fft, my cpu runs at 65 degrees. 

 

My cooling is a Corsair H60 with push pull sp120 quiet edition 4 pin fans. 

 

Is this normal? 

 

And how far can i overclock this baby with ai suite?

increase the multiplier to 42 on all the cores. boot and see if it is stable.

 

if it isnt go up on the voltage a little bit at a time until it is. 

 

I have mine @ 4.3 GHz but its been so long that I actually forgot the voltage. But it isnt much more than stock

Yes but with your current voltage you can rasist take it to 4.1-4.3 Ghz.

so normal ,you should hit 80° with small fft ,you're good to go ,more than good ,and a4670K with water cooling ,i think you can get up to  about 4.2Ghz ,if you don't want to push it really far because that will shorten it's life span

Don't forget to increase the voltage as well if you OC to keep stable
