Asus P9X79 PRO - b2 q-code

Hello,

 

I have issues with a system that has Asus P9X79 PRO motherboard, on boot I am getting b2 q-code, which supposed to mean 'Legacy Option ROM Initialization'.

It is using old AMD FirePro v9800 GPU and if I swap it for anything else it is booting fine, so not sure why I am getting b2 with it.

 

Any ideas?

Have you tested that card elsewhere?

Actually, it was power supply!

I guess gpu did not get enough power and mobo was freaking out.

Other gpu I tested was much lower power.
