LTX 2023?

SpecialService

We really miss not having LTX, Hopefully LMG has not become "TOO BIG" to host this event in 2023.  It was an incredible event for young and old, I can vouch for the old vote.  Please give us just a little hint that it may happen in 2023.

I assume the Expo will return in 2023; a return is mentioned on the LTX Expo website, likely in Q3 of the same year. This time, I expect it to be a three-day event with a return unlike any other.  LTX. Bigger. Better.

it has nothing to do with too big, it was cancelled for public health. So 2023 will depend on what the public health situation is.

Insanity is not the absence of sanity, but the willingness to ignore it for a purpose. Chaos is the result of this choice. I relish in both.

It's possible it could happen in 2023, it's just too late into 2022 and relaxed public health orders here in BC Canada to plan out and rent the venue for the event now. Best to let LMG plan out to 2023 now, just too many logistical gears for a short notice event is what I gather.

They have to book pretty far in advance, so it really depends on how certain they are that the world will be more stable by then, and if it makes sense with all the other capital expenditures they've done this year.

Linus himself has said he has been bummed they haven't been able to do LTX. So I'm sure once everyone gets over Covid being not as much of a threat they can get back into it.

We'll make an announcement regarding the next LTX when we're ready! Unfortunately nothing to share at the moment.

We'll announce anything official/important on the website or twitter account when the time comes, and Linus will probably leak some info early on the WAN show at some point anyways.

We definitely haven't gotten "too big" for LTX, if anything that just means we can hopefully make it a better experience when it does happen again!

Let me know. By the time it comes around I'll be traveling from there. I don't think my fiancee would go to Canada just to go to LTX.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

You need to remember where LTX is held.  Vancouver, BC is an amazing place to experience and travel to outside of LTX.  There's plenty to see and do in the city itself and it's an hour and a half drive from Whistler (where much of the 2010 Olympics was held).  Could just as easily be sold as a trip to Canada and Vancouver that includes some time at LTX 😉

I know Vancouver very well I grew up in Washington. Used to go up there with fake IDs instead of doing it in the states when we were in high school.
I could see her flying over to stay in Seattle to visit family.

Got so excited when Linus said on WAN that LTX2023 is tentatively a go. I can not wait! Everyone needs to do all the things they do to get this to happen. Pray, Light a candle, charge your crystals, Feng shui your car, sacrifice a furby, wear your lucky underwear. Just do it!
