GIGABYTE_Z97X-UD5H_BK_Black_Edition_01.j

This is the Z*7 black edition, im not sure what the fussed out character could be #twobetterthanone maybe?

GIGABYTE_Z97X-SOC_Force_01.jpg

Once again the OC force, just me or the heatsinks have lost a lot of their size.

GIGABYTE_Z97X-UD7_TH_01.jpg

This is the UD7 which i always get confused about, between the sniper and this and the oc force, they are pretty similar, maybe that will change with this iteration.

Am i the only one that misses the goldcap on the soundcards, they looked size but alas now they are gone. gg and goodnight people.

Thank god for that black edition, we've been waiting too long for another all black motherboard. That being said the yellow line on the heat sinks is kinda ugly.

Everyone keeps making Black Editions, but for some reason just can't restrain themselves from putting some kind of bright color on it somewhere, first ASUS with their red accents, NVIDIA with their bright green branding on the Titan Black (otherwise all black and silver), and now Gigabyte... I mean, how hard is it, really?

If you absolutely have to put some kind of accent, the only things acceptable to me are gunmetal or silver (and even then only a little here and there).  I'd really like a matte black board with gunmetal caps and chokes, and black heatsinks with silver trim.  And a rear I/O cover, while I'm dreaming.

This one really is an odd board all-around... (dat red power button... still, lol).  It's got SATA Express and M.2 SSD support... along with two legacy PCI slots  and only one USB 3.0 header.  And VGA.

OC Force is the only one with a usable PCIe layout, and the only one with no SATA Express. As usual Gigabyte drops the ball. NEXT!

Never mind, it claims to have SATA Express, will be one to watch out for for me, maybe even the first Gigabyte board I get.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Still don't understand the orange/black color scheme unless you plan to put your pc in a jack'o'lantern. How about we stop abusing the black+every color in existence scheme. Make the pcb a different color like white or blue or red. Hell, a hot pink pcb would even be acceptable. You know what? Make a high-end hot pink motherboard. I would buy the f**k out of it purely for the lulz, atleast it would be original.

Look good, not as good as the current boards though :(  z87x-ud3h looks GOOD!

I totally agree, the z87 line up looks waaay better, they seem cleaner, these boards look a little jaggy, its like going back a few generations when the size of everything mattered more then the appearance.

new 9 series mobo's have not been all that great so far. All the asus one's are either far too gold, or far too powerangers. And now the gigabyte ones are contradictory.

Why are so many black additions not actually black?
