will ryzen 5 3600 bottleneck a 6750 xt?

Recently i've been having problems with my gpu artifacting, doing stuff it shouldn't and the list goes on, and i don't wanna fuss with it anymore so i am thinking of upgrading to a radeon 6750 XT.

So i've been wondering will a ryzen 5 3600 oc'd to 4.45GHz 1.378 volts bottlneck that gpu when playing games on 1080p?

A friend told me it would bottleneck it quite a lot but you know i like to get educated by more people on the manner.

A Ryzen 5 3600 is a pretty decent CPU for modern games, you get pretty great performance at 144Hz. 

 

Friend of mine has a 6700XT on his 3600 (not overclocked) and his experience is top notch.

Dont worry about it too much, its not that much. You could always upgrade to a 5600x-5900x later if you need a bit more but overall you arent a world top gamer and wont notice the difference between 160 fps and 150 FPS, and it really only matters if you play first person shooter games

Also, the 6750 is just an overclocekd 6700, no sense paying more than for a 6700.

Mostly in games. from the witcher 3, doom eternal and many more like these. i have a 144hz monitor

But in theory if u were to play on low-medium in a competitive title the 3600x will pump out more than 144hz anyway.

 

For AAA titles most of the bottleneck you won't notice.

 

for the drops you notice on 1080p, say medium, vs a 12700k with ddr5 or 5800x3d,i'd say the bottleneck is 25% in very specific scenarios, it's a really rough guess since the most recent benchmarks either don't include the newest cpus or the older ones.

 

and you can upgrade to a 5800x3d anytime if u wanted to

With those you're more than ok.

Where a stronger CPU would matter would be competitive multilayer and multitasking on multiple monitors.

You shouldn’t cut down on your on your cpu if your going to buy a high end gpu but if it runs fluently then go for it.
