mounts for 2x 27inch

Hey forum

Im am after mounting the two monitors on the pic bellow to the wall. I have had a search and couldn't find arms im after.

(Linus has what im after but they dont support 27inch)

I sometimes turn them portrait and use them to watch movies so I would like the same motions the silverstone arms have.

Thanks alot

Just because a mount says it can only have 13"-24" monitors doesn't mean it can't hold a 27". I'm not sure why they do that, if it has the right mounting (VESA?) then the mounts should be able to hold up to their maximum weight, I think they are just only validated for less than 24" monitors for some reason. Get one made of metal though!

You can get the ones that Linus reviewed as long as the head doesn't overload the rating of the arm, which I believe is a hefty 17 lbs. Maybe even 22 lbs.

But wouldn't the width of the monitor be a problem? I'm also looking for a monitor arm which can support up to 27" (although I'm only using a 24").

Up to 24" means the 24" displays would be facing directly forward and line up at the edge--any larger display would be angled and facing outwards.

Yes for dual monitor stands, but I was thinking about getting two and placing them side by side.

I bought two of the Rosewill RHMS-13001 monitor arms. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824992092

These monitor arms are incurably strong and worth every penny of them. The hold both my Qnix 27 inch 1440p monitors up.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824992122 You can also get the dual arm that goes with just one of the arms so you do not have to buy two separate arms, but this is almost the same price as just buying a second one and buying them separately gives you better flexibility of were you want them to go.

I was looking around and came across the Ergotech Freedom Arm. Apparently it can hold up to 27" monitors, has anyone have any experience with this arm?

I have the single SilverStone LCD arm - linky -  for my 27" and I love it so much I'm about to get another panel and arm.

I knew I would at some point get two monitors but want to stick with the single arm mounts to spread the weight on my desk out a little as mine has a glass top.

But again, SilverStone - perfect products (I was just being a heavy noob when trying to adjust it after I bought it).
