Programmer monitor suggestions...

linustechchips

I want to buy 2-3 monitors for my setup, I prefer this specs:

  • 24"/27"
  • 1080/1440p
  • No/Very Less backlight bleed

Price range/Budget: 250-400 Usd ( Upto 30000 INR )

I am from India there maybe some availability issue but I would like to know the suggestion.

If there are high res display within my budget then also suggest some.

I don't really game but rarely I play Rocket League or CSGO nothing other than that...t

If you mean higher res I think LG have a few 4k 27 inch 60hz at that budget (around 300 buck but it varied from region to region)

If programming is all you do, you could probably get an even bigger monitor by going with a VA type panel rather than IPS. VA had its issue but more than good enough for programming. Any monitor can be good for programming but VA had better image quality than TN (even IPS in fact) but still pretty cheap

In India there are very less options in LG monitors...

I found this 4k monitor LG 27UL500-W 27 (68.58CM) UHD 4K HDR Monitor, RADEON FreeSync™ | LG India

But I think 4k is overkill, maybe I am wrong I have never used a monitor.
