GPU for office and light gaming

Hey I'm going to be building a PC for my uncle and I am stuck on the gpu. He would use it for mostly internet browsing and writing papers, but he also wants to be able to play games on it. any suggestions? It has to be with 2 generations so a 6** or 7**, 7*** or 2**. Budget is about 150 USD

The 750ti is a great choice for that budget.

760, a 750Ti is pretty terrible at some real gaming.

It can do 1080p on medium to high resolutions. How is that pretty terrible at "real gaming".

While he is right, I would rather be concerned with the power consumption, so you don't need a too big PSU. Also, less heat. And for only some occasional gaming, the Ti is going to be enough.

750Ti, you can always drop to 720p and sit back with a controller, 1080p matters close up.

Take your pick though OP as both are good, 750ti probably quieter and lower TDP.

 

 

Just don't get a GTX590 or anything like that and power/heat/noise won't be too big an issue.
