So I accidentally stepped on left IEM while it was in pants, omw to toilet.

And when I took it out a few hours later, turns out the housing of the connection point is cracked/deformed.

Such that I can't plug in my stock cable or the AZ09 Bluetooth adapter that I was using when I stepped on it.

My question is, is the damage repairable? Cuz considering how tightly packed all the components are I would not think so.

it looks for me like the contacts are gone... could you repair them? Probably. Would it cost more than new ones? Most likely… A new pair should cost you around 20 $ so…

Or look for something else that uses the C-Pin, KBear and CCA use them for some IEMs as well

Is the AZ09 fine? I have always seen the C-Pin connector as pretty fragile

I never had any luck with repairing any of my IEMs. This one looks like a goner as well.

Is the AZ09 fine? I have always seen the C-Pin connector as pretty fragile

So the sentiment is the repair is possible.....but time consuming and costly and it's more cost effective to just buy a new pair.

Welp, I was considering buy a new pair anyway so might as well I suppose. Probably go for the Kbear KS2 or something.

Is it possible to just buy one replacement bud? Cuz the right one is still working fine but if I buy a new pair of IEMs there's gonna be 1 odd one out. The poor guy won't have a partner. 😞

The AZ09 is fine, although I've heard the MMCX connector was more fragile? I'll buy another C-pin IEMs since I need one to populate the other AZ09 module.

Thanks for the help guys 😊
