I would add, if Microsoft wouldn't even start this whole "OS as a service" scheme in the first place, none of any other controversey starting with Windows 8 (besides the Metro theme of course) would have happened.

 

And even then, Microsoft would still be contentious because of Windows' monopoly.

Here's my advice: just because it's on github does not actually mean it's open-source (check the licenses!) and verified and trusted (try checking the issues page!).

 

And also, don't take GoodByte's advice too seriously, I still disagree with his statement on how debloating can "break an OS experience". But, please stay on Windows 10 if you can, Windows 11 is still cursed.
