Recover data from striped volume (1 disk failed)

Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

Nope, if they're striped with no parity, then you just have bits of files on each drive, hence the striping and no complete files, other than those that are smaller than the minimum stripe size which would basically just be tiny text files.

EDIT: Technically, there are professionals that can recover complete data from striped arrays, even with a dead drive, but you'd need to send them all the drives and it's expensive as hell.

Any hope of recovering data from a striped volume of 3 disks where one disk failed? I assume not. One drive started clicking, then the volume disappeared from Windows. Plugging the disks into a caddy shows no files since they're distributed.

Any help would be appreciated!
