I have an m.2, a sata ssd, and a sata hdd. I want to use StoreMI to use the ssd as a cache for the hdd.

Mikearndt

Is this possible considering that my boot drive is the m.2 and that I want to cache the other two storage devices? additionally, is there a way to do this without losing the files that already exist on the hdd (the ssd isn't as important as it has been a residual part of my pc for several months. it used to hold linux but after a windows update i never actually ended up using the linux on this pc again)? Any info you could give me would be amazing! much appreciated.

Dunno for StoreMi but I do it with Primocache

RAM caches SSD, SSD caches HDD, it works really well, the HDD don't even feels like one anymore !

The caching for a single HDD is not gonna be a noticable difference, a good 7200 data drive should be fine for non-latency sensitive applications.
