Windows 11 on a phone?????!!!!!

Kibs2173

Yep it's happening

So apparently this guy has created a port that will allow us to install windows 11 (complete version --- no emulator) on certain Snapdragon phones.

It is currently in testing phase so do check out the website and see if your phone is supported.

I would suggest use an old phone if you have it laying around so you can test it.

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

Well the stability depends on the type of cpu you are using. And it runs full windows Native. imagine the possibilities 😂 running steam directly from your phone.

oh heyy great news check these guys out

they actually installed windows 11 on a poco f1 phone i think. And yep several old steam games work that doesn’t require too much power.

In addition you can also duel boot into android as well

You already have Windows 10/11 running under:

  • Lumia 950
  • Lumia 950 XL
  • OnePlus 6T
  • Mi 8
  • Poco f1

And probably other phones too.

I have installed Windows 10 and then Windows 11 on my Lumia 950 XL.

Works well, phone and SMS/MMS supported as well.

Work by a big contributor in making it all possible recently just started  on bringing Windows 11 support on the Surface Duo.

If you have any questions, let me know.
