YouTube may be the scammers here, but they've also opened themselves up to being scammed as a result. There is no way to justify this even from a business perspective. They're either participating in a scam (one that preys on vulnerable individuals to boot), or being scammed once their YouTube NFT wallet or w/e is cracked due to subpar account security and then all the apes are gone.

Wow the quote regarding dislikes shows exactly how tonedeaf they really are. They really do a good job ignoring any and all feedback about this choice, i'll give them that.

really hate that one side of youtube, remember how they wanted to "protect the children" and even has their own kids app??
but instead ruined it for everyone else. Where you got channels talked about in the video below that you might sometimes get on trending page if ever clicked on "5 minute crafts" or similar type of videos. That also gets more approved for ads than big "verified" channels. As talked about before, youtube on it's main site doesn't know what it wants to be, and its not really for creators unless you are worthy for the "kids app" or a part of a big brand or corporation. Which makes less sense to the "support our creators", only when they try to selectively help their community.

So in short, such a horrible answer from them with zero thought even. Sad but YT is complete garbage for a while now already, same for Twitch too.
