white spots on new display

Hello,

i recently bought a AOC 27G2AE 27‘ from amazon and got a problem that there are white spots on the left side of the display. Is there a way I can get rid of them? Or is it a manufacturing error?

Tha'ts the backlight of the panel. Normal behavior for edge lit displays that are the most common.

This is backlight bleed, which varies from unit to unit. It's up to you if you can live with it or try to get a replacement. No one can guarantee you'll get a better unit though.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Unless its visible when actually using the display I'll say its ok. It's what you can expect from at $200 display
