Built this PC for my wife’s parents.

 

CPU: Ryzen 3600

GPU: Radeon 5700XT

 

Case: custom

Looks neat but also looks like it could be a hotbox. Is that bottom vent an exhaust, or is that the intake?

intake, exhaust at the top. Two 200mm Noctuas.

this is sick! i want to do something like this when im older but with a water reservoir and a stream of coolant on top (its kinda hard to explain).

 

 

is wood working a hobby or what for you?

Hows the temps? Hows the noise bleed from top fan? 

 

That vertical GPU may have a bit of recirculation, but marginal. Overall nice build, kudos for dove tail job.

Acceptable temps and noise I would say. I originally planned to tilt the GPU somewhat, so the airflow would be better directed at the front. Not sure if it would have made much difference, though.

 

I used these rubber knobs under the feet to reduce resonant vibartions, as well as some rubber grommets for the hard drives.

I have some, but I didn't document the process too carefully unfortunately

Yes, I would say so. I made another (different design) for my wife, and I'm currently working on my third wood PC for personal use. I'm planning to post more on those later.
