Liek if u cri evry tiem *likes*  Kekkai Sensen was pretty original I mean the premise not really it's your weakling guy who's all of a sudden this hero!  It's not the weakling guy though that is adored by all the girls and is constantly being saved by them lol

 

It's not that it's original, but it's creative and entertaining and a visual feast.

Does anyone here agree that Pandora Hearts manga is WAAAAYYYY better than it's anime counterpart?

The anime was pretty darn great until they ran out of manga to adapt and tacked on a lame anime-original ending. Same fate as many anime, really.

animes for visual novels never end well, they are forced to take a route and basically it pisses off majority of the fanbase. Static visual novels are a maybe but there arent many good ones out there. Imagine how dead a world end economica anime would be.

They should just ethier make different seasons for different routes, or make a massive voting for the best route to be animated. Not every1 will be happy but the majority will.

Speaking of crap adaptations of VNs... Mashiro-iro Symphony is a prime example... ugh... why did they go that route when there are more interesting routes presented...

 

I liked how Da Capo was done because we got a bit of everything... and it just pursued the 'true end' afterwards...

 

Slightly the same with Clannad...

 

I nice way to do an anime adaptation of VNs would be Fate... and I just wish that they come out with Heaven's Feel already so that I can be at ease with that franchise...

I think an OVA would be best suited for VN's such as world end economica

 

but you do have a point there, there isn't enough content for a VN to adapt into an anime, .

Then they should make it like Amagami SS or Photo Kano then. They are 12 eps anime, but they have 3 eps arcs that they get "reseted" after they end, so after one arc(route), the other one starts from 0 like the 1st one didn't existed(so there's no issues with other girls). I think it's a pretty good system and for us that like romantic anime it's great.

I rewatched koi choco not long ago, i still like it a lot.

 

And i remember nothing about mashiro iro, i remember i liked it though.

Omnibus (what you describe) is the absolute worst way to handle an anime adaptation of most VNs. 

 

Grisaia no Kajitsu for example would be a ton better if they just made it about Amane rather than cram all 5 character routes (technically 4 since Yumiko was fully butchered in an anime-original way) in at all-out desperation mode.

 

I mean, Amane isn't even close to my favourite character route in Grisaia (Sachi is, followed by Michiru) but I would much rather have more of the common route (because it's comedy gold) and her route fleshed out more, than flat-out butchering 4 routes. (Sachi, Michiru and Yumiko were completely butchered, Makina was not as butchered but still not watchable IMO)

 

Also Amane's route was the only one that was done quite well in the anime (last 4 episodes) so they could have perfected it easily.

 

This is also why I recommend anyone who's going to watch GnK to skip episodes 4-9.

 

 

THEY LEFT THIS EPIC SHIT OUT (and more like it) TO BUTCHER 4 ROUTES!!!
