Tokyo Ghoul is great so far, I'm just hoping MC doesn't become total Shinji

I was actually looking at watching this Anime next. I heard it was really good. I will definitely check it out. Both seasons are on Funimation So I can marathon it.  ^_^

 

 

 

Also not related to Anime The Asus T300 Chi has now become available on Newegg. And I was didn't know whether to get that one or the UX305. MY cousin has the UX305 and I really like it but I wanted a touchscreen thin laptop and the $999 UX305 still hasn't been released so I just ordered the T300 Chi.

 

I will however also buy the ROG G501 when it releases because that is a thin and powerful gaming notebook.

Touhou is company which makes music + anime themes? I am not really familiar with it but the music sounds good ;)

Lol no, Touhou's a series of danmaku (Bullet hell / Bullet curtain) games that usually plays on music that just happens to be loved by the online community. There are some animes out there that uses the game characters and some of the story (I'm actually not sure about this part correct me if I'm wrong). Btw, the songs that @MyInnerFred posts are mostly other songs with a picture of touhou, not songs from the game.

@PercySavageEG The music I post isn't the original song but it's basically the original songs in a sense since the fans used the original composition. Basically ZUN the creator of touhou is a composition genius. All the music I post are arrangements or remixes of the original songs.

As for the Touhou animes, all the Touhou animes you see are fan made... Yes you heard me right... Fan made... ZUN has refused offers to make a official anime and does not want to commercialise touhou. The reason Touhou is so popular is because it's flawed and that promotes the creativity you see in the fandom.

It is a bit all over the place. They just moved too fast and the character development is non-existent

I do realise that some of the songs that you posted are actual recompositions of the songs from the game but I thought I saw some that were just other songs with a Touhou background, I guess I was mistaken, my bad. As for ZUN, he's a freaking god, does everything for the game from the music to the coding, story making, character modelling you name it.

 

I knew that there were fan made Touhou animes but I didn't know that all of them were, very interesting....

 

edit: On the topic of music, thanks for introducing me to nitori kappashiro and qonell, they are basically all I listen to now :P

Thoughts about Baby Steps 2, Kekkai Sensen and FSN UBW 2?  :)

 

Oh don't worry, the rest of my impressions will come when I watch those episodes :)

 

However, I probably won't get to Baby Steps 2, since I haven't finished the first season (it didn't really impress me, but it wasn't terrible as much as I had just watched Cross Game, and Baby Steps felt like a less entertaining version of that).

Baby Steps wasn't too bad... At least season 1 that I watched wasn't. I wouldn't say it was the best anime ever or anything but definitely not bad.

Baby steps gets even better. The anime really starts off slow same goes for the manga but it quickly leveled up the hype in 10 Chapters or so through character development. The manga had more weight to it's words and better pacing and presentation(visually). 

 

In the End Baby Steps' strong point is the character development and presentation(manga's was way better in this area IMO) both Eiichiro and supporting roles' developments were top notch. Strong point for the anime was it wasn't wordy the manga was too wordy in some cases IMO.

 

Baby Steps is like the beginning of PoT without the nonsense. It entertains you through the different characters, their deveopment, hardships, goals and wit.

With an added bonus of romance which was greatly paced.

baby steps aside we have a launch trailer for MKX lol

The fatalities in the old versions gave me nightmares. It's more brutal and insane this time around but I found worse things in the internet *ehem* blue waffle *ehem* so I'm already immune
