vpn Can i use a VPN to cover my torrent tracks?

Hey guys. i just moved to a new house and when we did we went with a new internet provider, ROGERS. i like to torrent things, movies, shows, games. we've only been here a few days and got an email from rogers for.....

so, i dont plan on stopping my downloading behavior. For example, im not going to stop downloading episodes of Dexter and pay for a subscription to showtime. 

 

my question for this forum is, should i pay for a VPN like Private Internet Access so that i dont have to worry about getting sued or dragged into court. i live in ontario Canada BTW FWIW
