Will this be suitable for my needs?

Wallace

Below is the stuff I was thinking about getting buying for my PC build (my budget is £1250) but I would like to know:

  • Is everything compatible?
  • Would it be suitable for Adobe Photoshop at 1080?
  • Would it be able to run basic Minecraft? - I have never played it but all my friends do so I don’t know what is needed
  • Are there other things I am missing?
  • Are there any better parts that would stay in my budget?

Hi dude. With such an high budget, i would never go with an rx 550. I know that the situation is bad rn, but i would wait and search for an used gpu online. I recently bought an used 6gb 1060 for 230£ and it is worth it every penny.

Cooler will not fit in the case. A D15 needs 165mm. The case has 160mm.

Would you recommend replacing the cooler or the case. What would you replace it with.

Could do but I’m not very confident in the second hand market. I was looking at the new 12th Gen i7 with integrated graphics until the shortage ends. Would that be worth it? Would it be able to run Minecraft and Photoshop? It’s my first PC so I don’t know all that much about everything.

Right now I have 2 cases that use Noctua NH-D15s and they are both Cooler Master H500 ARGBs. The cooler height is 167mm and only one fan can fit.

The other cases I have used have all been Cooler Masters with 200mm fans in front.

All my other cases use AIOs.

Should I go for a dh12s or dh15s? Would they fit? Don’t really want to go for AIO because it’s my first build and it seems a bit too expensive.

A DH12s is 158mm high but may have issues if you upgraded to a 5000 series.  A NH-U12A would be better for future upgrades and it is also 158mms.

I would use them but I have 3 DH15s and a NH-U14S.

Based on your ideas I put this together. Would this be a better idea?LTT updated PC.pdf

It fits according to Pcpartpicker.

The 5700g makes sense in the short term and later with a GPU it will still be a good pick.

My 5800x had no problems running a 3080 ti.
