Do you Americans/Canadians ever drive manual cars?

I am in America and prefer manal transmissions. However, they are becoming more and more rare as Americans prefer the convenience of being able to put the vehicle in gear and go. CVT transmissions are the absolute worst, imo.

I’m in the US, have only ever owned manual cars, ‘18 Golf R manual currently, and taught my wife to drive manual. While in college I was one of two cars on campus between a group of 8 friends, no one else could drive manual so no one ever borrowed my car 😉
