Selling my PC and have some questions

1. What is the best way to ship a PC so the components are not damaged? 

2. I have just one SSD that has my operating system and data on it, If I wipe the SSD, would the operating system still be there?

1. In the case box. If you don't have that, then wrapped in a lot of bubble wrap, with some packing material inside the case to keep everything secure. You can buy expanding foam inserts (I think they're called InstaPaks), and I'd get anti static bubble wrap if you plan on putting it inside. If you have a heavy cooler, I'd remove it if you're not going to buy an InstaPak. Make sure the box is very strong, preferably double walled.

2. Wipe it, they can install Windows themselves.

Thats a very dangerous assumption to make, tbh. Its easy for customer to just immediately complain on why the PC "wont boot" without an operating system. Even unregistered windows 10 would be better than just telling them to "install themselves".

You make it seem like this is a business or something. Just need to mention in the ad that the buyer has to install the OS. Easy.

I think that the best way to ship a pc is to get a very big box, bigger than the pc and get a lot of bubble wrap and foam to protect it. Also include a screwdriver that is the size of the case screw to unscrew.

take out the graphics card and if there is one, possibly the air cooler
