thatoneguyyup

just bought this msi RX580 v1 with 8gbs but gpu-Z is showing me i only have 4gbs of vram, i tried looking up this version of the card to see if there was a model that came with 4gbs of vram and possibly scammed but nothing came up.Could the problem be with the pci slot or did i just get a faulty card?

what does the product label on the back of the card say. never trust for certain secondhand sellers who provide few pictures.

you need a label that has the name of the card, for example like this

otherwise the label trick is out.
