Dell Opx 3020

Redneck PC

I'm looking for a better graphics card then MSI GTX 1030 DDR4 2G VRAM (see link below). What I am looking for is perhaps one with the came GPU speed (or better) but has support for 4GB VRAM that works with a 225Watt PSU (w/ 84W processor). The key here is I am looking for the best deal/cheapest recommendation.

I think the best cards you are able to get are 1050s and 1650s, make sure to look for models without any additional power inputs

What online shops offer "cheap" 1050TI/1650? Without paying for the stupid mark up prices because fuck china and their chips. Fucking graphics cards in low/mid are double if not triple the price I would even ask for m Dell 3020.

Where do you think 1050Ti's and 1650's are made?

What's cheap?  Cuz 1050Ti's are going for $200+ right now.

Yeah, nothing to do with a worldwide pandemic and your boss's trade agreements he signed.  But yeah, we all are.

I'd just wait it out, to be honest.

What type of OptiPlex 3020? MT (Mini Tower) or SFF (Small Form Factor)? Unless things have changed, typically the max wattage for the primary PCIe x16 slot is 75 watts in the MT. For the SFF, it can be limited to only 50 watts.

Nope. The world is printing money which is causing inflation world-wide. Consumer pricing is at 5.4% this year. It's debatable when/if that will level off.

TLDR, if you want or need something, you're going to have to save more nickels and dimes.

That would be the SFF model where the cards are half-height. You you want to look for "half height" graphic cards; typically they contain brackets for both full and half height.

Japan prints money and they need to keep printing money because of deflation and their economy is the third largest. Explain that to me!

Have you considered transplanting the system to a new case. This way you could source a used card depending on your budget and a new PSU. for example a case can be had for less than £40 with fans included, a PSU is £25-45 leaving a little over £100 for a GPU. I know these prices are GBP but I tend to find we pay the same as you would pay in USD.

You would need to confirm that the motherboard has ATX hole pattern or at least matches 4 or 5 hole placements.

I don't understand your strange currency. It's like telling me that my GPU is worth 20 rocks. jjj How come you guys do not use cups of tea as currency?

Are you wanting help, or just feel like trolling? It's not hard to convert the currency and price out the same part within a region you plan on purchasing from.

IMHO, I wouldn't be transplanting any Dell OptiPlex hardware; they tend to be proprietary.

1, I'm here for advice. 2. I was just joking along with the guy. It's normal for two people having a conversation to discuss off-related stuff. 3. If this bugs you as much it implies to me it does I highly recommend mindfulness. It's a good stress tool.
