Benchmarking My Temps pre rebuild.

mikeyw64

so ahead of the upcoming rebuild of my PC Osprey from the Q500L to a custom case and loop thought I would do reasonably basic temp check so I have a good comparison point.

With the 5600X (cooled by a 240AIO) & GTX950(cooled by a 120AIO) both on stock clocks , all fans set to the lowest I could (approx 650rpm) I fired up Cinebench and Heaven for an hours run.

Doesn't look too shabby too me and is pretty much silent, which I like 🙂

Then reran the same test/benchmark but with the fans set to max (approx 1650rpm)

The new build will be moving to zoned cooling and 2 x 360 rads in a custom loop rather than AIOs (although note the 950 is being replaced with a 980TI) .

Fingers crossed in the new build I can achieve the same silence but with a small OC /lower temps.

Min Speed figures in blue,Max Speed in Green (ignore the black lines, that'
s a display bug)

Not gonna lie, was a 5600x and a 980ti worth cooling with a full custom set with 2 360 rads? o.o 5600x would have been fine with just a single 360 rad

Probably not but I thought "why not" plus of course should leave room on the table for a GPU/CPU upgrade in the future.
