New Fuji Cameras?

Carbonado

On September 2nd, 2021 was the latest Fujifilm X Summit, and Fujifilm released two cameras, the GFX 50S II and later, the Xt-30 II. The latter stands out to me as a potential buy, what are your thoughts on it? Is it worth buying over the og Xt-30? Or are minimally used Xt-30s a good deal now?

what are you using the camera for? What equipment do you already have? the xt-30 II seems to be a pretty small upgrade. Id spend the extra ont he xt4 personally for IBIS as its a pretty big improvement for my uses.

Street and landscape photography mostly. No videos.

None from Fuji, I plan on starting to use Fuji lenses as they will be a big step up from my point and shoots, i've been following the Xt-30 closely.

I can get a Xt-30 with a XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS Lens and a XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS II Lens, used but condition is like new for $1100 (SGD1500) or wait until October to get the Xt-30 Mark II for $970 (SGD1299), what do you suggest?

true, but it is out of my budget for a new camera, the farthest I could stretch is probably ~$1300 (SGD1700)

Yea the xt-30 with the lenses seems like a good pick here.

Id probably not wait for the model II here. Id argue the screen doesn't matter too much(and its not that bad either), and your needs don't seem to need the faster processor.

IBIS won't matter as much here, since the lenses have Is. This seems like a good combo here, id go for it.

If your after the IBIs the X-S10 is the great budget option

Yeah it seems to be mostly about making it easier for Fuji to get parts by limiting the variety

Which actually isn't a huge difference to me as i do not shoot video, and for photography, atleast the kind of I do, the OIS in the lenses are good enough.

IBIS allows some crazy stuff when paired with OIS in lenses, I can shoot at 1/15 and sometimes 1/10 on my X-s10
for video ibis is often a mixed bag
