How do I run 9 RGB fans in the 5000D case?

JingleJaxson

I will have the following in my new Corsair 5000D airflow case:

Front mounted 2x ML140 RGB fans (intake)

Side mounted 3x ML120 RGB fans (intake)

Top mounted 360mm h150i Capellix AIO w/ 3x ML120 RGB fans (exhaust)

Rear 1× ML120 RGB fan (exhaust)

So I'll have 9 fans total, 1 Commander pro to run 6 of them, but I'm not sure how I'll control the last three. My mobo is a Tomahawk X570 for reference.

Any thoughts?

fan splitter

Would it be a fan splitter that connects to the commander pro? Is it safe to have 9 fans in one hub that's meant for 6? Safe to have a single hub for 9 fans connected to one CPU fan header on the mobo?

im guessing you have a commander core? and not the commander pro? the commander core comes with the aio.

did you buy single fans? because all 3 packs of fans should come with a lighting node core.  i also thing you cant have the aio ll fans with the other ll fans as there different. so i would test one non ll fan and one aio fan on the commander core first.

as for the fan power form what i read having multiply tacs hooked to one fan header can make the rpm readings off so best would be to use a powered hub and have 1 pwm to one fan header off the commander pro and it can do 4 pwm fans.
