Should I start playing Borderlands 2?

Hi! I recently bought the Borderlands 2 GoTY for no reason and I was wondering if I should start playing it if I'm not to late to the party? What I do now is just download characters and play on them. So, what should I do?

no reason not to get it if you bought it but your not going to be finding as many players online

It's pretty fun. Just go in and start a new game. You select your char there.

I honestly don't like Borderlands at all, but I don't say the game is bad at all.

its one of the only games i found enjoyable in the last few years

If your grave doesn't say "rest in peace" on it You are automatically drafted into the skeleton war.

If you just download a full level character save there's no point in playing the game, you might as well not play it if you plan on doing that.

Well you already bought it, might as well play it :P

I'm late to most games too, I've yet to pay $60 for a game but good games don't get any worse just because they're a couple years old!

You cannot be late to the party in a single player game :P

 

Its a fun game! Just dont expect the worlds most gripping plot, - expect explosions and crazy guns instead and some laughs sprinkled in too

Play it the legit way and maybe play with a friend.

 

It's mostly a loot and grind game with memes.

It is definitely a fun experience but I never had the desire to finish the game after a while. Since you already bought it just play it and see if you like it

I bought it a month or so ago and I really enjoy it. Like a few other people said, there's not an amazing plot but it has direction. The characters are quite diverse and that means you get a slightly different experience from playing as each one. It does involve some grinding and the pace can feel a bit slow at times, especially when you start revisiting locations with low level enemies and you get hardly any xp for it... But I still enjoy it nonetheless. Play it with a friend who's around the same point in the story and it's a lot better :)

If you have NOTHING else to do.  Its basically shoot everything and pick up stuff. No real sense of achievement...but you may like it. And seeing as you bought it...why not

I would suggest get some close friend and LAN it to start the game. Its really really fun.

Solo its not a bad game but with 1-3 people its brilliant.

I personally think the art style is crap but other than that it's a really fun game. Btw claptrap is the most annoying character you will ever find in a game.

I completely agree on this, if you gather few of your friends, make some old school LAN party, it can be pretty amazing, that's what we did.
