buying a monitor in europe

Vilyo

hey hey,

I am in need of a monitor, I am looking to buy something in the 1440p 144hz category, my budget it around 300€ at most being 400€, I was looking at the AOC CQ27G2 but also found a number of other monitors that various topics or sites suggested, I know there is typically not a "get this its the best" answer but can anyone weigh in? Being from europe also means that some reviews from USA don't apply since at least some brands have different model numbers over here...

So 27" and curved...

Some monitors have colored accents. I would pick all black to make it fit into any desk setup.

So ASUS TUF Gaming VG27WQ1B looks nice, but you cant adhust the height.

With MSI Optix MAG272CQR you can adjust the height, but to me the foot looks weird.

Or the GIGABYTE G27QC A.

My build:

CPU

Intel Core i7 9700 8x 3.00GHz So.1151

CPU cooler

be quiet! Shadow Rock Slim

Motherboard

MSI B360-A PRO Intel B360 So.1151 Dual Channel DDR4 ATX

RAM

16GB (4x 4096MB) HyperX FURY black DDR4-2666

GPU

8GB Gigabyte GeForce RTX2070 WindForce 2X 3xDP/HDMI

SSD

500GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 2280

HDD

4000GB WD Red WD40EFRX Intellipower 64MB 3.5" (8.9cm) SATA 6Gb/s

Power Supply

bequiet! Straight Power 750W Platinum

Case

Fractal Design Define R6
3x bequiet! Silent Wings 3 PWM

The LG 27GL850, Gigabyte M27Q or Gigabyte G27Q are your best options in this budget.

Detailed reviews if you want to learn more about the specifics:

The cheapest 32" monitor i feel comfortable recommending is the Gigabyte M32Q. But it's selling for about 550€.

There are 32" options in your price range but they're mostly cheap curved VA's that don't stack up well compared to a decent 27" IPS monitor.

Also, please quote me so i can see you replied.
