Your insight and sharing your experience will be very much appreciated

Check the product page itself. Most products that I've seen have "10(or 7) days replacement policy", which means that they'll REPLACE your item, in case you received missing or damaged parts.

Other products have "10 day return policy", which means you can return them. Though, I won't really buy products "just to test them" because I won't be surprised in case the seller/Amazon decides to reject the return.

I am getting pretty fucking sick and tired of the "watch something else" responses. It's such a cop out answer because you could say that about basically anything, and it doesn't address the actual complaints. People use it as some kind of card they pull when they can't actually respond to the criticism raised but they still feel like they need to defend some company/person. If you don't like this thread then stop reading it. See how stupid it is? It's basically like telling someone "shut the fuck up". It's not a clever responsive, it doesn't address anything said, and it is rude.

I've bought tons of things from Amazon Canada, usually if you bought an item that was fulfilled by Amazon (not a third-party seller on Amazon) there's a 30-day return window with full refund. You can check it by going to your order page, and under each item it should say the return window, like the image below:

From there, you can click "Return or replace items" to start a return. Although you can ship the item back to Amazon, what I prefer to do is to drop the package off at my local Canada Post so I don't have to pay return shipping.

This makes me question your reason for asking. 🤔

If they're unopened, Amazon has a no questions asked policy.

If they have been opened, Amazon may or may not reject the return--but they usually let it slide.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Amazon doesn't reject returns within the window.

Worst that can happen is that they'll charge your shipping depending on your reason.

Don't state that as the reason for a return or else you will have to pay the shipping fee for the return. If you say its broken or pretty much any other reason amazon eats the return cost. Amazon has one of the most comprehensive return policies only getting bested by Costco

Not necessarily the case anymore. I'm not sure if Amazon just wants to reduce the number of "defective" items it gets back, but of my last four returns, two were defective and exchanged and two I just changed my mind on. Put in "no longer needed", and Amazon ate the shipping on one and just let me keep the other. And if you put "no longer needed" or something like that and it gives you a shipping cost, you can always just back out and restart the return. My theory is that Amazon is going to start doing what eBay should have done a long time ago: enforcing its return policy.
