Best CPU cooler for Ryzen 7 5700G

M3Mac45
Go to solution Solved by RONOTHAN##,

Get a Hyper 212. Newegg is running a deal right now where you can get the Hyper 212 for $40 plus a $15 Mail-in rebate. You can then use that $15 to buy 1-2 more fans (depending on size/color/etc) and 3 fans should be fine.

Granted, this does depend on your case. If you have a Phanteks P400a, 2 fans should be fine to cool a R7 5700G. If you have a NZXT H510, that case needs all the help it can get for airflow, so your money might be better just getting the extra fans.

My budget is 40$
im wondering should i get a different cooler then stock or should i get 3 more case fans i have 2 case fans atm if i should get a better cooler then what one?

If that's the case you're gonna get, the Hyper 212 and the extra fan is probably your best bet. That case looks to have pretty decent airflow, so the two stock fans for intake and one for exhaust should be plenty fine. You could also just get the Hyper 212 and have that act kinda like your exhaust and just save the extra $15. You can add in the extra fan once you add in a GPU (I'm assuming you don't have one, since otherwise it makes more sense to just get a 5600X or 10700k)

Stock should be fine for the 5700G but you can look for a gelid phantom or arctic freezer 34 eSports if you're looking to oc.

The gelid phantom will be the best for cooling.

Coolers listed here are respectable budget coolers. But the pa120 outperforms everyone of them while being in the same budget.

i5 2400 | ASUS RTX 4090 TUF OC | Seasonic 1200W Prime Gold | WD Green 120gb | WD Blue 1tb | some ram | a random case

the stock cooler right now is running the CPU at about 80 degrees clocked at 4.4 ghz average with a 4.75 ghz peak exporting a video out of premiere pro. If that comforts you at all!
