My GT 630 Underclocks

Hey all

So i have a question so i was (im saying was because i undid the overclock, as i was scared as the GPU was getting 70C and higher) able to overclock my GT 630 (please dont judge me about my GPU im focusing on my school grades first) so i got it from 805 Mhz (Base clock) to 920 MHz and the VRAM to 1080 MHz, now thats AWESOME and all but here is my problem okay? so if i play, say for example, CS:GO right? it HEAVY UNDERCLOCKS TO 405 MHz on the core but the VRAM goes back to default 800 something MHz

now my question:

How do i keep it stable at 905 MHz on the core? if u need pics or whatever let me know

Regards

Colin

It's probably getting mega hot really fast and clocking down to compensate.

i have, but im thinking it the overclock, you know like a safety setting that say, if temp is higher than x value set clock speed to 405 MHz, i just the Overclock to stay, plus i now have 7 fans in my case so it gets to 60C which is better, but still underclocks itself. Oh im using MSI Afterburner to overclock

You can strap a molex fan on the heatsink of the GPU with the fan blowing towards it and it should fix the problem as the GT 630 is not a cool running card (it has a 65w TDP). Can you please give a picture of your graphics card?.
