Get the case, get the fans, put that shit together STOP worrying about temperatures!!!

Cuz we're 2 of the same NUT CASES and we enjoy pushing each other's buttons. 😁

BTW i'll be back to torment you further after i switch cases. 😁

I do not want to see another post from you until the case AND the fans are installed PROPERLY.  Then, and only then, can you come back to report on your temps.

Make sure you record the temps BEFORE and AFTER, like I did with my snips of HWINFO64 last night.

See you in a few days.  Not sooner.

Actually that might take some time since tommorow is friday and if i order it tommorow the case will be here no sooner than tuesday. Another 1-2 days to finish up installing parts so i'll have results by next thursday or next friday.

In the meantime though until tuesday when it arrives, i'm free to torment you here even further. 😁

Wanted to ask one more thing, REAL QUESTION tho so please reply.

The fans on that MB511 at what speed are they supposed to run ?

I heard that some cases can have fans that don't run like at fast speed and would not make a difference... is that true ?

Saw some info about that MB511 that the fans are up to 1400 RPM or so.

Honestly, I plug all my fans into the fan headers/hubs and let them all go.  I have ZERO idea how fast mine run, what my fan curves are, etc.

i DO know that the fans on my AIO ramp up and down, they're connected to the CPU Fan Header tho which would be your CPU cooler.

As for case fans... they spin.  Good enough for me.

I also do not know how fast my car's radiator fan or it's intercooler fans spin either 🙂 Nor do I care 🙂

Sorry i just remembered something.

My motherboard is GIGABYTE B550M DS3H.

I'm not exactly great with motherboards but any idea how many fans can i connect to it ?

Does it even support 6 fans ? I may want that case but i don't even know if my MOBO supports that many fans. 🤔

Splitters.  Use them.  You probably have 2-4 fan headers (not counting the CPU fan one).  RTFM 🙂

And don't ask me if splitters are really okay to use.  Yes they are.  Period.

One thing though.

Switching from my current GAMEMAX Dark Ranger to the Cooler Master Masterbox MB511 won't or can't make my temps get higher after that right ?

I enjoy the teaching and discourse to a point, but to legitimately ask us to repeat what we said multiple times...

Whoa, you need to slow your roll here.  You're the one asking us (me) to repeat myself umpteen times.

I am doing you a favor by continually responding and answering your repetitive questions over and over.  Back up and relax.

Whoa, you need to slow your roll here.  You're the one asking us (me) to repeat myself umpteen times.

I am doing you a favor by continually responding and answering your repetitive questions over and over.  Back up and relax.

What will it take for you to finally trust and believe what I (am others) are saying to you?

I didn't say i DON'T believe you.

But i just don't want to spend another 150-200 euros and then after switching cases to have a surprise that temps are the same or higher.

I just hope there won't be ZERO difference.

When you repeatedly ask the same thing over and over, it comes off as not believing. I am willing to (and hopefully not insult you) write it off to some anxiety or worry thing, where you can't get your brain to stop.

But damn it, if you don't understand thermal dynamics at all, go research it.  There are many articles and posts about airflow issues, and how it all works.

How you can not understand that 1 exhaust fan is WORSE than 3 intake and 3 exhaust, coupled with a mesh front (let's air in) vs a solid panel front (no air) is literally beyond me.  it's the same as being in a room with a windows closed or open.

At some point you need to think for yourself and trust what you read or come up with.

I cannot comprehend how you can even ask this:

"Switching from my current GAMEMAX Dark Ranger to the Cooler Master Masterbox MB511 won't or can't make my temps get higher after that right ?"

It's not anxiety, maybe i just worry too much.

Yes.  It's a better case in every way than the one you currently have.

We wouldn't have recommended it if it wasn't.

@Dedayog

Also wanted to know, does that CM that i ordered have like fan control ?

Or do i can't change fan speeds ? If yes then do i have to do that in BIOS or is there software for it ?

That CM is fine. I was just saying Fractal since I have one, and the R6 or newer ones are more exepnsive than you want to spend anyway.  Mine has worse temps than the CM, as it's more sound focused than airflow.

Fan speed is controlled by software or by the BIOS and temp levels.

@Dedayog

I just remembered something although not sure if it would be relevant.

Should i change the GPU thermal paste ?

I mean the 1660 SUPER is new like 2 weeks but any chance it had bad stock thermal paste ?

Was wondering this since i was getting even 80-81'C in Predator Hunting Grounds with max settings.

I wouldn't want to kill my warranty though.
